BRIEF HISTORY

Let me introduce myself briefly. I have been working in the Medical Technology field for the last 31 years with different companies at key positions and finally, I have started my own company Biomedica in 2014 with a team of experienced staff.


Before Biomedica, I have been working as a partner and Director Technical with PHYSIONICS from 2005 to 2014. My experience also includes working with Medequips who is the distributor of TOSHIBA Japan and I have also served at Bio-medical department of Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan. You might be aware that Aga Khan University is the number one hospital in Pakistan and renowned internationally.


Besides above, I have served for fourteen years (from 1991 to 2005) in Technology Links as Asst. General Manager and In-charge of the medical service department in their Karachi head office. My responsibility was managing 6-branches all over Pakistan. M/s Technology Links are the sole distributor of Shimadzu Japan in Pakistan. During my 14-Years long tenure there I visited Shimadzu sanjo works, KYOTO, Japan for the different trainings which included computed tomography (CT) scan system and the complete range of radiology equipment including digital radiography.


I also implemented some JICA-Projects in Pakistan as well as Overseas. Please see the detail of projects.

  • ALLIED HOSPITAL (PUNJAB MEDICAL COLLEGE, FAISALABAD IN 1993 -PARTICIPATED AS A SENIOR ENGINEER
  • BHU/RHC - NWFP IN 1996 - PARTICIPATED AS A PROJECT INCHARGE
  • BOLAN MEDICAL COLLEGE, QUETTA IN 1997 - PARTICIPATED AS A PROJECT LEADER
  • MCH MOTHER AND CHILD HOSPITAL (PIMS) ISLAMABAD IN 1998 - PARTICIPATED AS A PROJECT IN-CHARGE

JICA INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS (OVERSEAS)

DAMASCUS HOSPITAL, SYRIAN MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN 1998


PARTICIPATED AS A SITE MANAGER Under the "Project for Improvement of Medical & Laboratory Equipment" financed by the Japan Government Grant Aid to the Syrian Government, in which I supervised the installation of the supplied equipment's of worlds famous manufacturers and trained the concern staff of the hospital.


ALMATY, KAZAKHISTAN - MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN 1999 -PARTICIPATED AS TEAM LEADER

PARTICIPATED AS TEAM LEADER 16 Central District Hospitals and two Almaty Regional and inter Regional Hospitals of Republic of Kazakhstan, in February to March 1999 under the "Project for Improvement of Electro-medical and Laboratory equipment's at Regional Healthcare in the republic of Kazakhstan" financed by the Japan Government Grant Aid, in which I was responsible for the supervision of installation of the supplied equipment's of worlds famous manufacturers and also trained the concern staff of the hospital
